I live in Karaj, a busy city nestled at the foot of the Alborz Mountains, where the hum of factories and the clang of machinery fill the air. Our city is a center of production — steel, textiles, and automobiles — a place where people work long hours just to survive. Yet, even amid the noise and motion, there’s a quiet heaviness in the hearts of many. Life here is hard; wages barely stretch far enough, and the promises of prosperity from our leaders feel distant and hollow.

In recent years, hope has grown thin. The economy continues to falter, and the weight of daily struggle has caused many to question the ideals that once defined this nation. People are tired of empty religion and failed promises, longing for something — or Someone — real.

But in this very atmosphere of disillusionment, God is moving. In homes and workshops, in whispers and prayers, people are meeting Jesus — the One who offers peace no government can provide. The Church here grows quietly, courageously, and unseen by most. I’ve seen hearts transformed, fear replaced by faith, and the love of Christ spreading like light through the smog of hopelessness.

Karaj, a city known for its factories and labor, is becoming a place where God is shaping lives for His kingdom — refining hearts like steel in the fire. I believe this city will one day help forge a generation that carries the Gospel across Iran and beyond.

Prayer Emphasis

Pray for the people of Karaj to find true hope and peace in Jesus amid economic struggle and uncertainty. (John 14:27)
Pray for workers in factories and industries to encounter believers who share the love and truth of Christ. (Colossians 3:23–24)
Pray for underground churches in Karaj to grow in unity, courage, and wisdom as they disciple new believers. (Acts 2:46–47)
Pray for young people in Karaj to rise as bold witnesses, carrying the Gospel to neighboring cities and nations. (Isaiah 6:8)
Pray for the Spirit of God to refine this city like fire — transforming Karaj from an industrial hub into a center of spiritual renewal. (Zechariah 13:9)
