You can pray through this guide anytime - even if it's not during Chinese New Year!

With this guide we invite you to pray specifically that God will become known to the one billion people across the globe who are at least nominally Buddhist.

Next Annual 21 Days of Prayer is January 9th – January 29, 2026

Keys to Praying for Buddhists

Pray for laborers to be sent out for each of the hundreds of unreached Buddhist people groups. (Matt. 9:38)

Intercede for the opening of Buddhists' eyes to the revelation of the true and living God and His Christ, the unique Savior. (Eph. 1:17-23)

Pray for those caught in the deception of Buddhism to understand the gospel, especially the doctrines of Christ's substitution and redemption.
(Gal. 3:13, 1 Pet. 1:18-29, 2:24)

Intercede for newly converted Buddhists to begin multiplying churches that result in a disciple making movement among each buddhist people group near them. (Matt. 16:18; 1 Pet. 2:9-10)
